Your business data belongs to you. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and the strict walls we maintain between every business on the platform.
The foundational privacy guarantee of the BizTwin platform.
Every business on BizTwin exists in a completely isolated data environment. When you register as a business, a dedicated data partition is created exclusively for your account. No other business can access, view, query, or interact with your data in any way.
This isolation is enforced at the database level, not just at the interface level. Even in the event of a software bug or misconfiguration, the architectural design prevents cross-business data leakage.

Data isolation is implemented using row-level security and tenant-scoped authentication tokens. Every database query is automatically scoped to your business ID. A request from Business A's session is architecturally incapable of returning Business B's records — even if the query were manipulated.
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform.
We do not collect data to sell to advertisers. Every piece of data we collect serves a specific function for your business operations.
The audit log is your protection against internal theft, errors, and disputes.
The BizTwin audit log records every action taken within your account — who did it, what they did, and exactly when. This log is kept specifically to protect you as the business owner from internal theft, honest errors, and disputed records.
The audit log is only accessible to you (the account owner/admin) and any manager-level staff you designate. Cashier-level staff can see their own transaction history but cannot see the full audit log.
Every sale, every discount, every stock adjustment, every login, every account setting change — all time-stamped and linked to the staff member who performed the action.
BizTwin does not use your audit log data for advertising, profiling, analytics products, or any commercial purpose outside of providing your service. We do not mine your transactions for market intelligence.
Our technical team may access your audit log only in the following circumstances: (1) at your explicit request to help resolve a technical issue, (2) in response to a valid court order or law enforcement request, (3) to investigate suspected fraud or security breach affecting the platform.
We keep your business data for as long as your account is active.
Physical businesses build value over time. A five-year sales history tells you your seasonal patterns, your best-performing products, and your most reliable staff. We keep your data for the full lifetime of your account — we do not prune or delete old records as long as your account remains active.
The exact circumstances under which your data may leave BizTwin's systems.
BizTwin does not sell, rent, or trade your business data to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, market research firms, or any commercial entity for purposes outside of running your account.
Your data may be shared only in these specific circumstances:
Service Providers: We use a small number of trusted technical providers (cloud hosting, backup services, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements. These providers cannot use your data for any purpose other than the specific service they provide to us.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose your data if required by a valid and binding legal order from a competent authority. We will notify you before complying with such an order unless legally prohibited from doing so.
Telegram Integration: When you use our Telegram alert feature, transaction summaries are transmitted to the Telegram API to deliver messages to your bot. Only the data included in the alert (staff name, product, amount) passes through Telegram's servers. Your full database is never shared.
You are always in control of your business data.
As the account owner, you have the following rights over your data at all times.
Download your complete data at any time as CSV, Excel, or PDF from your account settings.
Update your business profile, contact information, and settings at any time. Audit log records cannot be deleted (by design) but can be annotated.
Close your account and request complete deletion of all your data. Deletion is permanent and irreversible after the 90-day grace period.
Request a full description of what data we hold about your business and how it is used at any time.
Disable optional data processing features (such as aggregated analytics) from your account settings.
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, contact our data team directly for resolution.
Our data protection team is reachable through your account dashboard or via email. We respond to all privacy inquiries within 48 hours. You can also review our Terms of Service for the complete legal framework governing your use of BizTwin.
